I know about the smear tactics he used against Voorhis and Gahagan, as well as the Hiss case, of course, but were there any other ways he built his career as an anti-communist?
Nixon made his name as a staunch anti-communist through his work on the House Unamerican Activities Committee. Before that, he was just a freshman congressman from California.
