Which US political party is historically more corrupt?
I will clarify, as I’m sure this question will bring a lot of ignorant answers from uneducated, ill-informed partisan pundit parroting posters…
Historically (in the last 80 years), have more Democrats or Republicans been found guilty on corruption or ethics charges?
I’ve done some research online, but so far haven’t found an essay, article or database that can catalog or count such charges by name, rank or party.
If you could point to some sources or make an intelligent argument for your answer that would be great.
One thing ive noticed over the years is that Republicans are very good at cleaning their own house while Democrats tend to blame others for the messes they have made. If a Republican had been guilty of gross incompetence and greed as in the case of Dems Barney Frank and Chris Dodd they would have been run out of office by now!!! But the Dems no way they want to blame “de-regulation” as the culprit.
